Internet Users Frustrated Joseph Kony Still Free After Week of Tweeting

INTERNET – Following an entire week of tweeting, internet users have reportedly become frustrated that Joseph Kony has not been captured, branding the situation as “lame”.

Despite an internet campaign calling for the arrest of Kony going viral,  thousands over Twitter users are said to be disillusioned over the failure of their tweets to bring the head of the Lord’s Resistance Army to justice.

The campaign has faced further criticism as Youtube users commented the video wasn’t even that funny, with many pointing out the lack of lolcats or autotune.

‘What else is on?’

With millions of Twitter users making the effort to change their profile picture, there was genuine disbelief that the situation which has been ongoing for over 20 years continues to rumble on for another seven days.

“I personally sent out 100 tweets,” said David Jones aka DaBizNaz95. “And they were all tagged #Kony2012 so I really don’t know what more could have been done.  It’s totally lame.”

DaBizNaz95 went on to admit if Kony wasn’t found soon “the people of North Africa would never find a resolution.”

“What else can we do?!  We’ve looked everywhere, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest.  Everywhere.”

“It’s like he’s dropped off the face of the earth, or he’s on MySpace.  Either way, it’s unlikely he’ll ever be found now.  So lame.”

‘This would be easier if he was on Foursquare’

Elsewhere, the video continues to attract attention the world over.  Producers of reality television show Big Brother are reportedly considering an approach for the Ugandan warlord to appear in a future series.

“We really want to spice things up for the next season and we think Joseph can bring that spark the viewers love to see.”

It’s understood Joseph Kony will not be required to submit an audition tape as his viral video has already showed him in a range of personalities from child enslaving murderer to child enslaving murderer with a hat on.

“It’s totally captivated everyone here,”  said a spokesman for UK broadcaster Channel 5.  “The BB team are already thinking of tasks to get the best out of Joseph including a modified version of hide and seek.”

In the United States however, Republican presidential candidate have rejected the Kony2012 campaign, saying there was “no chance in hell we would let this guy run without seeing his birth certificate first.”
