Schwarzenegger Admits Jingle All the Way Still Biggest Regret

CALIFORNIA – Despite facing a highly fractious divorce due to revelations of an affair leading to public disclosure of a secret love child, Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted his biggest regret in life remains his starring role in Jingle all the Way.

In 1996, the former body builder played a father on a quest to paper over years of neglect with a single toy, an ill-fated career move that brought “terrible shame to the once credible Terminator star.”

The confession forced a second apology to his family for putting them through the ordeal of seeing the man they respected act in such a way – even if it was for a check.

Poor Judgement

Schwarzenegger has said in a statement, “Before I cheated on my wife and fathered a secret child I did horrible things.  Jingle All the Way, Mr Freeze – these are just some of the things I wish I could take back.  I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among friends and family.  Batman and Robin was a really bad movie.”

“I remember the day they brought the script to me,” recalled a disheveled Schwarzenegger.  “Eurghh, I don’t know what I was thinking…but I said yes to part.  I’m so sorry, arrghh, GET DOWN!”

Ex-wife Maria Shriver had publicly supported her husband after finding out about the release of Jingle All the Way, but now admits seeing the movie did put additional strain on the marriage.

“I have tried to defend my husband in the past, but the humiliating roles kept on coming. Kindergarten Cop.  Junior?  Sometimes there’s only so much embarrassment you can take as a wife.”

‘Get to da choppa!’

The disgraced star has said the only consolation in a turbulent week that has seen his private misdemeanors made embarrassingly public, was that he had done ‘much, much’ worse things in his career.

“I was young and thought I could do any role without consequence.  But I wasn’t thinking about the pain my movies were bringing on my family…ARRGHH!”

The former Governor later added: “I am so sorry for the hurt I’ve caused over the years…and the kid too.”
