Children Protest As Ahmadinejad Claims There Is No Santa

NEW YORK – A group of second graders and their parents have angrily walked out in protest after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made stunning claims that ‘Santa Claus was not real’.

The outburst came at a birthday party for eight year old Rachel McKenize inside a Chuck E Cheese restaurant where he claimed that Santa Claus was a commercial plot by western corporations – supported by the ‘Zionist regime’ – to boost the US economy.

“What the hell was this guy thinking?! They’re only children for Christ sake!” raged Mrs Wanda Jackson, whose seven-year-old son cried for an alleged three hours straight after the tirade .

Mr Ahmedinejad – who also called the Easter Bunny an ‘American agent’ and the Tooth Fairy an ‘make believe whore’ – did not back down from his comments, defiantly arguing that children deserved to know the truth.

“Their parents have been lying to them,” responded Ahmadinejad who has also in the past claimed that Israel does not exist.  “It is your father dressed as Santa putting presents under the tree as you sleep then taking the milk and cookies for later consumption.  We all know this.”

‘He’s a poopy-head’

Mall Santas everywhere have called Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s remarks “abhorrent and delusional”, causing President Obama to question the integrity of a man who enjoyed crushing the hopes and dreams of children.

“It was offensive and hateful, totally uncalled for,” said the US president who has urged Iran’s president to take back the comments before the Christmas shopping season.

“I have children myself.  What am I going to tell Sasha now?  This guy’s a real jerk.”

The incident will certainly damage Iranian relations with American children under 12 who aren’t Muslim or Jewish, as word spreads of what has is being called ‘heresy’ in schools across the country.

It still remains unclear who invited him to the party.
