Vatican Dismiss Macaulay Culkin ‘Rumors’

ROME, ITALY – Cardinal Angelo Sodano has urged the Catholic faithful not to be swayed by “petty gossip” surrounding allegations the Pope covered up the abuse of Macaulay Culkin during his time as Archbishop.

Culkin has also distanced himself from the allegation that surfaced after revelations he visited church numerous times during his childhood years.  “Yeah, I used to go to church a lot” admitted Culkin, “I never met the Pope though.  What’s this about?”

Despite his state of denial, pressure has increased on the Vatican to explain the exact nature of the Home Alone star’s visits to Catholic Churches.

Reports have suggested that Culkin slept overnight on numerous occasions between the ages of 9 and 14 where it’s believed he was made to drink alcohol masked as ‘the Blood of Jesus’ or  ‘Jesus Juice’ from kiddie cups.

The Vatican have scrambled to defend to Pope, stressing that although he owns Home Alone 1 and 2 on VHS, he has never met Culkin and has no plans to.

Accusations of former child star abuse have left many feeling ‘hurt and angry’ over the effect the Pope may have had on Culkin’s mental development.  “That kid used to be so cute when he was hanging with Micheal Jackson…what did they do to him?” Was the question from one Home Alone fan.  The head of a child star survivors network has called on Pope Benedict to come clean over the allegation.  “We need to know why he has Home Alone 1 and 2 on tape.  Why both?  The second was just more of the same…something’s not right here.”

The Pope himself has remained largely silent over the matter which has done little to quiet concerns he could also be involved in covering the abuse of up to as many as 50 former child stars.
